The T661 technical narrative
Form T661 asks you to describe each project in your own words. The app drafts it from your eligible work.

What the CRA asks for
Part 2 of Form T661 has three questions for each project:

Generate it
- Run a Past assessment and generate its claim report.
- Open the report and find Part 2 Technical Narrative.
- Click Generate T661. It writes lines 242, 244 and 246 for each eligible project, within the word limits.
- Click Print for a clean, form-style PDF.
Review before filing
It is a first draft built from your commits. Read it with the people who did the work and your preparer, and fix anything that is not quite right.
Form changes
The CRA is consulting on a revised T661 as part of the 2026 changes. When a new version is released, we will update the narrative and this page.
