Add your team
Add everyone who works on SR&ED once. Projects pick from this list, and their time and pay feed the claim.
Add people
Go to Account, People and click + Add person. Fill in the basics: name, job title, employment type (full-time, part-time or contractor), province, and start and end dates.
Dates matter: only work inside the claim window counts. People with an end date in the past are not counted.
Their SR&ED details
- R&D role: technical, supervisory or support.
- Usual time on SR&ED: a starting percentage. You can change it for each claim.
- GitHub author: links their commits, so hours can be estimated for you.
- Specified employee? Owners of 10% or more (or their relatives). CRA limits apply.
- Arm's length? For contractors only.
Pay (optional)
Salary, hourly rate or contract fee turns hours into dollars on the claim. It stays hidden until you open it.
